As a Pavement Marking Laborer and Operator, you’ll be a vital part of our road crew. You’ll be the one who brings our plans to life, ensuring that roads are marked and safe for drivers.

What you’ll do:

  • Get the Site Ready: Help prepare job sites by setting up traffic control devices, cleaning pavement surfaces, and measuring and marking out lines and symbols.
  • Handle Materials: Help load and unload materials, mix paints, and transport them to the work area.
  • Keep Traffic Flowing: Direct traffic and ensure the safety of both the crew and the public.
  • Clean Up: Help clean up the job site after completion.
  • Operate Equipment: Run a variety of pavement marking equipment, including walk-behind stripers, ride-on stripers, thermoplastic applicators, and water blasters.
  • Maintain Equipment: Perform basic maintenance on the equipment.
  • Troubleshoot: Identify and report any equipment malfunctions.
  • Be a Team Player: Work collaboratively with other crew members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the required standards.
  • Champion Safety: Follow all safety protocols and procedures on the job site.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate clearly with other crew members and the Crew Lead.
