Highschool Internship
The Confidence Group’s CEO, Isaac Barnes desires to give high school students a chance to get hands-on experience in the construction industry. After a brief discussion with our CEO, he believes that the 2023 construction internship will “provide students with hands-on career experience that they can add on their resumes.” Additionally, he believes that “the internship will not only be a great addition to student resumes, but also would aid in the search for college scholarships”. Students will be paid during the summer internship throughout a duration of 6-8 weeks. Each student will be awarded a certificate of completion once the internship is completed successfully.
Education Through Movement
Throughout the internship students will experience the worlds of engineering, construction management, carpentry, as well as, architecture. With this, students will learn how science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics plays a role in the construction industry. In return, students who participate will notice major improvements in their cognitive capabilities in mathematics, reading, as well as their linguistic abilities.
